As a chocolatier Alexandre Bellion made his reputation already. His creations can be tasted at for example multi-star-restaurant Librije. And in the 'chocolate bible' by Bernardini he was hailed as 'one of the best 25 chocolatiers in the world'.
Unlike most other chocolatiers Alexandre makes his bonbon creations from his own chocolate, bean to bar.
He gets the beans, from little farmers from all over the world. Amongst others Vietnam, Costa Rica and Ecuador. He travels the world to see the plantations with his own eyes and have (face to face) contact with his suppliers.
He was already making his own chocolate, the step to making bars was not that big. And they are now available!
These bars are a shining example of the diversity of flavors found in origin chocolate. Clear taste & a great texture.
