Beautiful organic 100% chocolate from Akesson’s own plantation ‘Ambolikapiky’ in Madagaskar. Very smooth!
The estate of Beril Akesson are in the Sambarino valley near Ambanja in North-West Madagaskar. It is about 2000 hectares in total and is divided in smaller plantation like the ‘Ambolikapiky’. They started producing in 1920. 300 tons of trinitario cocoa is produced there, and a small amount of criollo, about two tons a year.
