Beautiful 75 criollo chocolate, completely organic, from Akesson’s own ‘Ambolikapiky’ plantation in Madagascar.
The estates of Beril Akesson are located in the Sambarino valley near Ambanja in North West Madagascar. It is about 2000 hectares and is subdivided into smaller plantations such as the ‘Ambolikapiky’. Cocoa has been produced here since 1920. In addition to 300 tons of trinitario cacao, a small amount of criollo cocoa comes from, about two tons a year.
