Description
Dark milk chocolate with 57& cocoa from Nicaragua & cocoa nibs.
Feitoria do Cacao says about it:
“Nicaragua’s cocoa, sweet and full of notes of raisins and nuts such as peanut or hazelnut, with added milk. For a ‘milk chocolate’ the cocoa percentage is quite high, in this case the role of the milk is mainly to determine the intensity of the cocoa to soften and enrich the palate.
Melts in the mouth like butter, instantly filling you with its silky smooth texture. A perfect harmony of the dark bitterness of the cocoa and the rich and smooth taste of the milk. The cocoa nibs add a crunchy and aromatic extra that further enriches the texture and mouthfeel. ”
Pairing suggestion from the makers: Nice to combine with an espresso or ‘caffe latte’, but also a nice surprise with a stout beer.
Ingredients: cocoa beans (Nicaragua), cocoa butter, cane sugar, skimmed and whole milk powder (Portugal – Azores). Cocoa min. 57%.
Awards: won a bronze medal at Academy of Chocolate 2018 & International Chocolate Awards EU 2018.
Caspar –
4 sterren dus.
