A special combination of chocolate with pink pepper. The chocolate is made in France. The cocoa comes from the own plantations of Akesson’s and also the pink pepper is grown organically by Akesson’s own.
The estates of Beril Akesson are located in the Sambarino valley near Ambanja in North West Madagascar. It is about 2000 hectares and is subdivided into smaller plantations such as the ‘Ambolikapiky’. Cocoa has been produced here since 1920.
Chocolate with pepper: Taste
The added pepper is not very sharp, rather floral and soft. A nice combination with the slightly fruity chocolate from Madagascar of Akesson’s.
The description of Akesson’s self: “In this subtle chocolate comes the fruity sweet taste and pleasant taste notes of citrus and red currant enriched with the floral notes of our pink pepper”
