The ‘Rugoso’ by Morin. Inamann cultivated and also protected variety of cocoa. Seeing Trademark logos on chocolate – we are somewhat hesitant, but also know that it produces chocolate that we ourselves are quite fond of. And in addition: that there is so much different cocoa, instead of just three ‘main types’ as previously distinguished, should be emphasized. There are so many types of cocoa, and as many flavors as possible.
In itself a very interesting chocolate, and certainly also nice comparison material for other ‘Rugoso cocoa made chocolate bars such as those of Friis Holm.
Taste description of the maker: Cultivated in the mountains of Northern Nicaragua. This cocoa has strong notes of cocoa and hazelnut.
Awards: silver at the International Chocolate Awards 2016
