The craft chocolate makers from Reykjavic from Omnom know how to make chocolate. We already knew their beautiful Madagskar, which if we have to describe it in crazy terms as “flawless”. We also knew and appreciated their lighter (milk) chocolates with additives. For their creaminess and perfect execution.
Then for us, as chocolate sellers, and surely lovers of dark – certainly gratifying if we can also offer (and taste) bars like this – the Tanzania 70% – a dark chocolate with 70% Tanzanian cocoa.
Contrary to other makers, Omnom is a bit scanty in what they put on the packaging about where exactly the cocoa comes from, where in Tanzania. But that will also have to do with the fact that Omnom’s packaging is entirely devoted to design. And what a design… these packaging are somewhere at the top of the list of pearls under the chocolate packaging. And there is still a lot to be found about Omnom online.
