That it is a special chocolate is evident from the beautiful awards. To name just one: awarded the best dark chocolate in the world at the world finals of the International Chocolate Awards 2019 – Best in Competition.
That of course does not mean that this will be the favorite bar for everyone. We ourselves have a few favorites that we really appreciate more, and the taste profile is definitely characteristic and rich, but it is you or you don’t.
But it does say that it is a special bar. And that Fu Wan does something special with their tree to bar chocolates from Taiwan. Certainly not a known cocoa country. That they nevertheless manage to achieve high quality in local cocoa in a short time in cocoa & chocolate will play a part in the many awards with which they have been showered this year.
