Description
Peru Pablino 70% dark chocolate from A. Morin. From organic cocoa from one cocoa producer from the Peruvian rainforests. Morin seems to be a bit like Peru as a cocoa origin if we look at the many bars he has produced over the years of cocoa from this country. We have had several or have now or are still in the assortment, also with these we are happy again.
Taste description of the maker: “This cocoa grows at the foot of the Andes. From one cocoa farmer, from the rainforests in the middle of the country. The cocoa stays on the flavor palette for a long time, has fruity and acidity and ends with slightly spicy cocoa notes”
Reviews: here. Nice words at C-spot. See via Google Or take out a subscription. The wild taste description: “enters a nuthouse -> downshift onto black truffle flirting with moraberry jam (intriguing) -> all 3 commingle eternally with fruit coming fore as progression grows ever sweeter -> bagasse -> brandy tuner -> strapping wood tannin in the aft-taste creates tingle-numbing stringency “
Awards: Won a bronze medal at the 2016 International Chocolate Awards EU.
Ingredients: cocoa beans, cane sugar, cocoa butter.
Allergy note of the maker: may contain traces of nuts, peanuts, sesame and milk.
