madecasse 100 percent pure, you see it right. Madécasse no longer has their ‘100%’ bar (right) and this is the replacement. We are not very happy with it, especially because the 100% bar really had a number of loyal fans. But Madécasse is somewhat fickle in this regard. It started as a 99% bar, then it became 100%, and now with the introduction of the new packaging 92% …
Something sugar, so slightly less intense – but of course for lovers of chocolate entirely without sugar. For the others: the bar has become somewhat more interesting in our opinion. And who knows, they bring the 100% back again. The importer is aware that the 100% will be missed by a lot of people.
Certainly not the softest-tasting bar with so much purity – but popular. Of course because it’s nice to try such a very pure bar once, and cut off small pieces of it. In addition, it helps that Madécasse paid a lot of attention to a nice package.
They themselves describe the taste as intense with a subtle acidity.

The brand was founded by two former assistants. It seemed sensible to do the production of both cocoa and bars in Madagascar.
