Both cocoa and coffee come from Colombia.
The coffee comes from the ‘Huila’ area, the cocoa from Tumaco.
Made into chocolate by Feitoria Do Cacao, bean to bar chocolate makers from Portugal.
The makers say:
“On Tumaco, located on the west coast of Colombia, also known as” Pearl of the Pacific “, cocoa trees are protected by tall native trees with a thick trunk.
We combine this cocoa with a smoky and mineral touch, with special coffee from Colombia – Huila, through the hands of LUSO COFFEE ROASTERS. The contrast between the rich and smooth taste of milk chocolate and the fresh bitterness of medium-light roast coffee with the crunchy texture of coarsely ground, provides the perfect balance and gradual complexity on the palate.
