Tasting Notes: Damp wood, hazelnut, jasmine
Liu Bao (六 堡 – Six Forts) is a fermented tea traditionally sourced from Wuzhou, Guangxi Province. Created in Spring 2011 from a blend of Yunnan leaves and local Wuzhou Guiqing medium leaf cultivar, this lot was fermented, steamed and pressed in their iconic large bamboo baskets to air dry for several months and then ripen to today.
Enjoy the iconic woody and nutty flavors of the aged tea, along with the jasmine finish of the Ecuadorian cocoa Costa Esmeraldas used in this dark chocolate.
