A bar where we fell in love immediately. A delicious taste explosion. The cocoa comes from near the village of Choroni in Venezuela. (Incidentally, very close to Chuao where one still has very famous cocoa) Owner Vicente Fuentes has his cocoa plantation, the Hacienda Torres. The Swiss from Basel from Idilio are looking for special cocoa, and that this search is successful is something we certainly notice in the Finca Torres.
Elegant and round with a long and harmonious aftertaste. Aromas of tropical fruits and ripe figs with a scent of filter coffee. In the aftertaste notes of freshly cut grass. (Taste note of Chocoweb)
Well-balanced combination of coffee and plum aroma complements the characteristic strong coffee flavor. Orange blossom, cinnamon & a slightly sweet raisin bouquet can be tasted in the aftertaste (Tasting note Idilio)
Cocoa mass 72%, cocoa butter, cane sugar.

Bonus tip over the Finca Torres
In search of more information about this bar, we came across a nice scientific study. A study about the Haciendas in Venezuela. From page 121 you can read more about the history of the Hacienda Torres. And with that about how this bar came about. Particularly, that internet.
