Description
There’s special chocolate from special cocoa and then there is véry special cocoa.
So also this B9 variety of Hacienda Betulia in Colombia. Single variety cocoa with many criollo genes and therefore also single estate – of the hacienda mentioned located east of the provincial capital Medellin.
Then the taste … great complex! Sweet, sour, spicy. Very nice, maybe crazy!
Read very well about the flavor profile of the cocoa at Hacienda Betulia, and taste what Mark Schimmel of Krak has managed to make of this beautiful cocoa is highly recommended. Yes, a higher price but that has a lot to do with the high price of the cocoa. And if such a beautiful cocoa is grown, and made into delicious chocolate to enjoy in small amounts, again and again, then the price is really more than justified – at least we think.
Ingredients: Cocoa beans, sugar.
