In the series Mystery Dark, Mesjokke makes pure chocolates of which they keep the origin of the cocoa secret in advance. So you can first taste, and enjoy unbiased. And later if you want, you can also guess at places like Facebook where the cocoa could come from.
Now the fourth Mystery Dark is so appreciated that this bar will not be temporary but will have a permanent place in the range. With mention of the beautiful place where you come from.
This is how the Swingin ‘Sunrise was created. Made from cocoa from the Kilombero valley in Tanzania, obtained directly from the cocoa farmers via Kokoa Kamili.
As always, Mesjokke mentions slightly silly texts on their packaging. About sun dances, about KC and the Sunshine band and they thank Sly & the Family Stone.
They say the following about this swingin ‘sunrise chocolate: I am the sunshine from the Mesjokke family. Swinging, exciting and intense.
For those who are still interested in more technical information, the cocoa was roasted at 120 degrees for 10 minutes, then 60 minutes at 100 degrees. Then ground for 24 hours. Cocoa type: Trinitario.
But we can certainly say that we think it is – rather as ‘Mystery Dark’ but now also – a very fine piece and a nice addition to the Mesjokke assortment. To taste alongside the other Mesjokke bars, to hand out and tell about the cocoa & the chocolate makers, that with bars like this you know exactly where the cocoa comes from, and to get to taste how incredibly tasty this type of ‘single origin ‘are chocolates.
