Description
In France, Morin made chocolate from 70% cocoa from Costa Rica. The chocolate bears Quetzal as a name – which we think is named after the bird – which also occurs in Costa Rica.
The taste
Morin himself says: “A rich chocolate taste where the notes of brown caramel and ripe fruit make this chocolate stand out.”
Morin also writes about his own taste note: “The flavors mentioned come from our own experience of chocolate and do not have to dominate your own taste experience” – in other words: discover for yourself what this bar brings to you.
The Belgian chocolate vendors of Reen.be praise the bar as follows: “has everything from a good coffee” – and tasting in the aftertaste toasted sesame.
Our own tasting note will of course still follow!
Ingredients

About the maker: Morin
In Donzère – South France, the Provence (about fifty kilometers above Avignon), the company has been making chocolate since 1884 and since 1958 it has really been made from bean to bar. Father André started here and gave the name to the company (officially ‘A Morin’), nowadays son Franck is in charge.
A beautiful rich tradition, a real family business and a rich assortment of single origine chocolates.
