Description
White chocolate from Morin. Another good example that there is really nothing wrong with white chocolate. Yes, ‘normal’ white chocolates like in the supermarket only taste sweet and creamy and very little else. The cocoa butter is made from moderate cocoa, and is then even de-flavored (deodorized) in the large chocolate factories. That is of course not the case here.
As a French chocolate maker, Morin has a strong connection with cocoa from Peru, and also works with cocoa from a number of regions, notably Chanchamayo. And the great thing is that the cocoa from Chanchamayo has been used specifically for this chocolate. It is white chocolate, so only the cocoa butter is used. But don’t fear: there is a lot of flavor in it. And of course also beautiful because it thus indicates that white chocolate can also be of specific origin, and this both for fair origin, a good price, and of course ultimately the taste very much.
