Description
Cranachan? Well, that’s a dessert – originating in Scotland. With raspberries, whiskey and oats (with cream).
And Solkiki makes a chocolate variant of it. A white chocolate with the mentioned ingredients – and it wouldn’t be Solkik if it weren’t vegan too – and it is – without milk.
A really special flavor combination, and we like it. Nice and crazy, also a bit, but also really tasty.
Ingredients: cocoa butter, sugar, almond, oats, raspberry, whiskey.
Made with Madagascar cocoa butter and Starward Whiskey Double Gold.
Allergy note: contains nuts, oats. May contain traces of gluten, soy and nuts.
With 42% cocoa butter. No milk. A lot of cocoa butter is deodorized (deodorised) of taste and smell when it is made into white chocolate (or as an addition to other chocolates) – this is simply good cocoa butter, so the ‘pure’ cocoa butter has been used, including a refined scent and taste. Extra tasty, and that is only possible if you use good (and expensive) cocoa butter.
Nice and ingenious chocolate bar – from Solkiki’s ‘2073’ series. A kind of experiment to make the ‘chocolate of the future’. And according to Solkiki’s train of thought, that is without cow’s milk anyway. In the wrapper you can read some background about it. Together with the ‘So Woke’ vegan white chocolate with coffee, Solkiki has made at least two really interesting and different bars than other chocolates. We will not learn whether they are far ahead of their time, but in any case it is a very nice experiment and the performance is also tasty and very fun. With a spacy futuristic-looking drawing on the packaging, a crowning achievement of the ‘intergalactic planetary chocolate awards 2073’. And then also beautiful ‘real’ awards – crowned with a silver medal at the International Chocolate Awards European semifinal.
