Description
Nice! We already had a lot of dark chocolates from Standout from Sweden – a chocolate maker that we appreciate very much. And a single coconut milk chocolate. Now at the request of milk chocolate lovers, just one of the milk chocolates. Especially because we also find them very worthwhile – and those who love milk chocolate also need good chocolates, as you can not find them in the supermarket. As is often the case with a slightly higher cocoa percentage than in the same supermarkets, in this case 60%. And of course with cocoa of known origin, in this case PISA in Haiti, you can read more about it at Uncommon Cacao.
A fine milk chocolate, with a high cocoa percentage, and not too crazy taste notes – as described here we like to describe what we also find in it, a chocolate taste with notes of caramel, roasted tones and malt. And above all a – as far as we are concerned – a fine balance in taste and structure.
Information about the cocoa: origin Haiti from the cooperative PISA. Fermented for seven days in wooden boxes. Dried in direct and indirect sunlight 4-7 days.
Maker’s note: caramel, toasty, malty.
Ingredients: cocoa beans, cane sugar, milk powder, cocoa butter.
Biological. Allergy Note: Contains Milk.
Awards: Academy of Chocolate 2020 silver, Great Taste Awards 1 star, Great Taste Awards Small Artisan Producer of the Year.
