An amazing milk chocolate with rum soaked raisins & coffee.
Omnom says: “We wanted to create a bar that feels like a dessert after a warm hearty meal, or a sip of warm Jólaglögg (glüwine) on a winter day full of snow.
We started with rum, raisins, coffee and milk chocolate. Little can go wrong with that, right? And indeed, little went wrong. This year’s winter chocolate is kósý (cozy, cozy) and is called appropriate Drunk Raisins + Coffee.
We soaked green raisins in a simple syrup of mandarin juice, vanilla from Madagascar, ceylon cinnamon, cardamom and rum from Austria. To get the perfect taste, the raisins are soaked for 30 days before we have dried them and cut each of those sticky bastards in half by hand.
Then we made a unique blend of chocolate with cocoa beans from Tanzania, coffee from Brazil and milk from Iceland. The result is our Drunk Raisins + Coffee. A limited edition winter bar, available from November 1 “
