Description
70% cocoa from the area around the Virunga National Park in Eastern Congo. The last mountain gorillas are housed in this park. In the last three years cocoa production has contributed to a doubling of the income of 13,000 households and deforestation has been reduced by 50%.
Taste
Tasting notes El Sauco: Round, intense taste with lots of red fruit. Morels, black currants, lightly smoked tobacco.
Taste note of Original Beans: Warm tones of Morel cherries, deep chocolate and black tea.
