There are many Hungarian specialties and the fruit-fires wine Palinka is certainly part of that.
Self-fired or from a more professional distillery, and of various fruits (apples, pears, quince, apricots, cherries) it is in any case a drink that enjoys overall popularity in Hungary.
The chocolate makers from Rózsavölgyi from Budapest do not just make some chocolate. They make high quality ‘ordinary’ dark chocolates of various origins but are also known for two other things: the beautiful design of the chocolate hall and packaging and also for the special additions, which you also do not just come across.
The chocolate with bread and olives is a good example. Or the chocolate with lavender flower & star anise
But this bar is also absolutely in the list. The chocolate is pure with 73% cocoa from Venezuela and also contains fennel and caramelized cocoa nibs that have been soaked in the Palinka drink. So they have the taste nicely recorded and you get a special whole.
Pronounced in taste, the fennel and palinka and the cocoa make a powerful whole. We just want to say that you should not buy it if you want a simple sweet taste sensation. If you want to be close to Hungary with your eyes, and want to enjoy special and distinct flavor combinations, we can heartily recommend the bar.
Ingredients: cocoa, caramelized cocoa nibs soaked in Palinka, fennel. At least 73% cocoa.
May contain traces of nuts and milk.
