Dark chocolate from Soeka. Bean to bar chocolate makers from Berg en Dal.
These new chocolate makers bought a lot of cocoa beans, mainly to do fair trade with Indonesia and to support the cocoa farmers, and then figured out how to make chocolate. They discovered bean to bar and that’s how it started.
The first officially released bars are there, incidentally, made on the equipment of the lords of Mesjokke. They themselves go step by step to set up their own chocolate workshop, local, in the municipality of Berg en Dal. Support the Indonesian cocoa farmers, use beautiful ingredients and locally make artisanal chocolate and spread the story of bean to bar.
Nice goals, and the municipality of Berg en Dal rewarded it with the title ‘best idea of Berg en Dal’. A nice boost, and we are of course following these local chocolate makers with full attention and fun!
The very first bars, that is extra special. So extra nice to taste now and again in a while to see how these creators develop!
