100% chocolate, completely sugar-free. There is one addition: even more cocoa, in the form of nibs that have soaked in Starward Whiskey.
100% cocoa, and then as ‘addition’ actually more cocoa, but then soaked in whiskey so let’s call it a 99% chocolate – although we do not know how much whiskey it actually contains, it certainly gives its taste off this special single malt whiskey from Melbourne.
Taste description of the makers: powerful and fruity, high in tannins with a fruity and alcoholic depth and a persistent aftertaste of pink grapefruit.
Powerful … we can of course say that it is already 100% chocolate and the makers of Solkiki do not make cocoa in it’s ‘softest tasting’ version, just a bit more powerful and ‘tough’ (or you can say if you it says more negatively: less refined – but the positive way to call it more pronounced fits just as well). Then the whiskey nibs … yes, you have a powerful whole. Chocolate for those who dare, or who are 100% used to and want to see this special cocoa from Peru (Fortunato # 4) combined with whiskey. The makers say a unique 100% … yes, you can say that.
Don’t think that you will get drunk, the makers say: “Alcohol-free, we’ve kept the flavor but evaporated the alcohol content – there’s plenty of buzz in the bar alone!”
