A dark milk chocolate with 65% cocoa – the Gran Palo Blanco from Peru containing Japanese cherry leaf tea and finished with a pickled cherry blossom flower that also completes the appearance of the chocolate.
Of course, like everything from Solkiki, this chocolate is 100% vegan.
The price is a bit higher than other Solkiki chocolates, good to know that this chocolate costs at least 10 pounds in the UK – and should therefore cost at least 11.70. We always try our best to keep prices as friendly as possible.

“This special batch is stone ground with cherry leaf tea. An ume vinegar, salt fermented cherry blossom adds a finishing touch to sakura temptation. Think green tea for flavor, but with a hint of cherry. We wanted to see how it matched our Palo Blanco cocoa and we found it to be a perfect match We made a small batch of this kind of bars a few months ago and because of its popularity we made an extra batch, and another one, and at the last minute we rush us to add an image to the print run and welcome the bar to our core range.
The base chocolate for this bar is our multi-award winning 65% dark coconut milk chocolate made with Gran Palo Blanco cocoa from Piura, Peru. This chocolate has natural malt and chocolate notes and a hint of stone fruits such as plums. The slightly fruity acidity helps to balance the flavors. It’s made with coconut milk to make the bar softer, but not overpowering, the coconut is very understated.”
Taste: the cherry tea is a caffeine-free tea made from cherry blossoms from Japan that is processed like other teas. But it is caffeine-free, and certainly also with a taste that will remind you of cherries, in addition to a nice tea bitter and floral.
