Willie’s Cacao – bar of Venezuelan Black – Rio Caribe
This bar is made from cocoa beans from the northeastern part of Venezuela. The cocoa beans derive their name from the small fishing port of Rio Caribe on the Paria Peninsula, which is sometimes called the “chocolate coast”. The beans of this region are full of flavor with hints of citrus fruits and a smooth spicy aftertaste. This is the strongest dark chocolate bar made by Willie’s Cacao. The beans are bought from Cacao San Jose, a family business that was founded in 1830.
This bar is delicious to eat, but can also be used for preparations of various dishes by chefs and / or amateur chefs.
