What could be better than seeing a sailing ship enter the harbor, with all kinds of special goods on board, which are traded at a fair price. Little, we would say.
It is wonderful that sailing ships arrive in the harbor of Hamburg with all kinds of great goods in the hold. In this case the cocoa from Nicaragua for Zotter, but also a large load of spices for a well-known brand of herbal tea and then coffee beans that are processed locally in Germany.
From Hamburg the cocoa goes by train to Austria.
The cocoa comes with the Timbercoast & Brigantes, both sailing vessels and thus beautifully almost co2 free transported. To emphasize this, it is not just the origin in the name of the bar but also ‘Sail Shipped Cacao’. Cocoa that comes by sailing ship.
In the Netherlands, we also have a chocolate company with Chocolatemakers that makes good use of the power of sailing ships. The Tres Hombres cocoa also comes across the ocean with a beautiful ship.
