Description
Zotter says about it “A single origin chocolate with 70% cocoa and a nutty malt character. Made by the La Campesina cooperative with Trinitario fine-flavored cocoa, which grows in and around the nature reserves of Cerro Musún and Cerro Quirraguas and is harvested by small farms. A beautiful, natural cocoa that is presented alongside a little bit of raw cane sugar.
Fragrance notes: dried fruit with notes of fermentation, nutty caramel flavor with hints of malt
Flavor notes: roasted notes with malt and caramel aroma and hints of cream, subtle notes of fruit (jam-like dried fruits such as berries and raisins), nutty malt finish with fruity accents ”
We like the taste notes of the makers, we also think about coffee, especially the taste of cream. In addition, a walnut taste (slightly bitter) and perhaps also towards coffee with roasted flavor notes. Slight drying effect, the sugar slowly reappears at the end. Nice taste experience, as far as we are concerned.
The bar replaces the ‘sail shipped Nicaragua’ that Zotter previously had in the range. This is no longer available – but chocolates per sailboat coming from Belize. This chocolate comes from other cocoa, namely from the La Campesina cooperative.
Ingredients: cocoa, cane sugar, cocoa butter.
Fair traded & organic.
Allergy note from the makers: may contain all traces of nuts, peanuts, milk, sesame and soy.

Erg lekker!
