Zotter 75% pure chocolate origin ‘Peru Oro Verde, named after the farmers’ cooperative where the cocoa comes from: Oro Verde. (you can visit their website via the link)
Zotter describes this bar as follows:
“A delicious single origin chocolate with 75% cocoa – with pure cocoa mass added to boost the flavor profile of Nativo cocoa. This is a cuvée of fine Criollo & trinitario cocoa beans that I discovered while traveling in Peru with my daughter Julia: The Oro Verde cooperative consists mainly of indigenous residents of the Chanka and Awajun population and 30% migrants. The cooperative is quite proud of their cultural diversity and also of the diversity of products they have on their cocoa plantations. are convinced that this biodiversity, a combination of varied plants, influences the taste of the cocoa and gives them a broad aroma spectrum.
We were impressed. In addition to the warm welcome from people in colorful party clothes and the strong tradition, we noticed that Oro Verde focuses on impeccable quality, with a laboratory and sensory tests. A perfect fusion of tradition and modern influences.
This chocolate will introduce you to organic ‘fine flavor cocoa’ that we convert bean to bar and with an infusion of pure cocoa mass into a chocolate with a strong flavor profile.”
A 75% dark single origin chocolate bar from the ‘Labooko’ series by Zotter. A whole range of chocolate bars from white and milk to very dark.

As far as we are concerned, it always should be for dark chocolate, but Zotter notes: this chocolate is vegan.
