Whether we also have sugar-free milk chocolate? Well, now so!
As you will know, milk itself contains some sugar (lactose) so there is still 8 grams of sugar thanks to the milk – but not a gram of added sugar. Compare that with normal milk chocolate where usually the amount of sugar goes far above 50% and you know … this is really something special.
We do not necessarily have as much sugar in our chocolate, chocolate is more to taste than to enjoy, so you do not have to work kilos from inside (with or without sugar) in our opinion – but oh … there can be all kinds of reasons for wanting less sugar. For once, for more often.
There are enough enthusiasts for our collection of 100% chocolates. Only cocoa, nothing else. Yes, even those are naturally sugar-free. But that is a bit more for the ‘purists’. Then you should really love cocoa. From experience, we know two things about these bars: 1. They are extremely diverse, but they are not always bitter. 2. It gets used to quickly, many people who go to the higher percentages never want anything else.
But of course … enough lovers for some milk in their chocolate. Even then there is now and then there is a demand for less sugar. Then dark milk chocolates with cocoa percentages of over 50% are a great option – but those who really want sugar-free can therefore try this bar.
Worth the effort. With 80% cocoa, and further only milk – with the right called ‘Super Dark’.
Our verdict: We do not think it’s dirty.
That says a lot because there are enough sugar-free bars that we immediately throw the trash in. This one does not – although we say it honestly – it is not the most complex taste in which all kinds of fruit tones can be tasted or something in that direction. No, it is what it is. Probably tastes good, greasy mouthfeel – but for an 80% chocolate with just milk – well, pretty good.
By the way … good to know – again organic and fair trade
Ingredients: cocoa mass, whole milk powder, cocoa butter, vanilla.
