Dat onze chocoladerepen heel lekker zijn had je vast al lang begrepen. Dat ze zeer fanatieke fans hebben wist je misschien nog niet.
Ik was bezig met wat simpele fotootjes van de repen, voor op de website. Maar van heinde en verre kwamen er lieden langs. Ze eisten een fotosessie met hun favoriete reep. Pff. Wat een gedoe.
Sneeuwwitje kwam helemaal uit Hessen gefietst om met haar geliefde Chocolatemakers Tres Hombres reep te poseren. Ze zegt daarover: “Wat een heerlijke reep! En zo leuk dat de cacao per zeilschip komt! ” Ze heeft op de terugweg uiteraard een stukje van de reep in haar fietstassen mee mogen nemen.
Shaun de Sheep houdt vooral van Kallari met gember, of zoals hij het zelf al giechelend uitdrukte: “Behhhh, behhhhh, beehhh!”
Big Jim houdt van kokos. En van chocolade. En zeker ook van chocolade met kokos.
Supermodel Cindy, met jurkje van couturier EmmaSteenbergen® , vindt de repen van Szanto Tibor Fine Chocolates goddelijk. Gevraagd naar een reactie wijst ze naar haar mond vol chocolade en lijkt niet van zins nog een woord uit te brengen.
Het is altijd bijzonder om een plant op bezoek te hebben. Zeker als hij met een chocoladereep op de foto wil. En dat terwijl hij natuurlijk geen chocolade kan eten. Hij leek het echter zeer te waarderen dat Original Beans zich zo inzet voor behoud van het regenwoud. De plant keek erg dankbaar.
Sacha kwam ook langs, en verkoos de reep van Kallari Chocolate – ook Sacha geheten. Of dat toeval is, vroeg ik haar. Ze ontkende dit stellig en wist nog te melden “Ik dacht dat ik vooral van melkchocolade hield maar sinds ik weet hoe lekker de pure repen van Chocoladeverkopers zijn ben ik helemaal om.”
